Sort By Price / Category / Store Category

Really love the Sort By Title and Sort By State, I use it a lot. Thank you for this feature.

Can I suggest also adding a

Sort By Price

Sort By Category

Sort By Store Category

I have so many different folders with listings inside of them and it would help me sort them out faster.

But thanks again for this feature, helps a lot and used daily.

Should this be sorted by alphabetically by the name of the listing’s leaf category? Or by the numerical category ID?

Can I suggest it be sorted alphabetically/lexicographically by the entire category tree path? For example Books & Magazines > Accessories as a string.

That’s a good question. I am not a programmer so not sure what is easier for you guys, either would work. I know I go by alphabetically by the name of the listing’s leaf categories, its hard for me to remember numerical category ID that the site uses. Either would be welcomed.

I do love the ability to be able to sort by price, so that I can put each folder with the cheapest items ‘on top’ and more expensive ‘at the bottom’ of that folder so that I am careful when changing prices and not make some stupid human error when I’m changing prices which I tend to do. I also like to use .33 or .25 or similar to the end of some items to know which are pretty popular than the others at the same price or those that have some interest from buyers I tend to add some cents to it to make them stand out from the others at say $25. Sorting thru these folders by price would be so great for me and I’m sure others would love.

The store category and category used by the site would be tricky I can see to implement on a sort by basis. I would prefer alphabetically but that’s just me but I’m sure others would want it by numerically? That’s tough to answer but that would be my personal preference.

I think the sort by price would be a good add on to do now and possible simpler to do than categories which can be done down the road perhaps?
