I’m using GS 9.8 and when I tried to add a new account in settings using the + symbol, as it opens eBay in the GS browser, it gives the error “The eBay account for the user (my ebay username) was authorized multiple times. The duplicate will be deleted.”
I can successfully use my main account, but I need to add another one for an account I manage with a relative and that is the error I get. The 2nd account exists on eBay and works properly, so how do I fix this?

What version of macOS do you use?
And what eBay site?
I’m using macOS Sonoma 14.6.1 on the U.S. eBay site.
If you still get the same error today, this is what worked for another customer:
• Remove all accounts in the GarageSale preferences > Accounts. Quit GarageSale.
• Open the “Keychain Access” application. Remove all entries of kind “GarageSale eBay account” and “eBay token”.
• Restart your Mac.
• Open the GarageSale preferences > Accounts. Try to re-add your eBay accounts.
Before doing this you might want to create a new macOS user account, open GarageSale there and add your main eBay account in the GarageSale preferences > Account. Just as a backup.
