Using Garage Sale 8.4.1 cannot select categories

Using Garage Sale 8.4.1 cannot select categories. I see the categories, select one and then I’m stuck. No button to click to make that the category. In the listing page sidebar the category shows as Unknown (176985). This has happened bewfore but it was so long ago that I don’t remember the fix. All of my existing listings show this issue, yeton eBay itself the category is correct. How do I fix this?

It seems that your eBay category data is out-dated and needs to be updated.

Please give this a try:

  1. Open the GarageSale preferences > Accounts. Click on “Refresh Token” to refresh your eBay access token.
  2. If done, select one of the listings in question and open the category browser. In that browser click on the sprocket icon to update the category data.

Thank you! I had forgotten about the Sprocket in the category browser. That was the fix.
