7.0.7 crashes everytime it opens

Just downloaded the update in title and now garage sale will not open. Opens and then crashes immediately. What do I do?

Did you just upgrade from GS 6 or did you update from a previous GS 7 version?

That’s odd. If you start the beta version and immediately hold down the control key, does it start then?

Also, please send us the crash reports, if prompted.

Yeah I am really confused. So I held the control key and it opens the debug screen, as soon as I pick something and continue, it opens GS briefly and then crashes. The report is too long and won’t allow me to send.

No need to post it here.
Instead, do you get the crash reporter panel upon restart* that lets you enter your e-mail and send the report to us automatically?
*after restarting GarageSale after a crash

I will look. I also have an issue with a programmer who made a template for me to use in garagesale but we cannot get it to work. Can I give you her email so she can talk directly with you?

When I try to restart garagesale, it brings up that screen to email report, but then the whole thing crashes again before I can use that option.

Hmm, is there anything non-standard about your system or network?
You should make sure that your network does not block the connection (Firewall, proxy server) and that you don’t use a tool that could block the network (Kaspersky, LittleSnitch, MacKeeper, HandsOff, cisco anyconnect, GlimmerBlocker, AdBlocker).

Thanks. I was able to extract your attached crash report from the forum’s web interface.

It seems you are using the outdated design language identifier [[item.condition]] in a custom design or in the item’s description itself. This causes GarageSale to crash.

Do you still get the crash if you disconnect your Mac from the internet before starting GarageSale?

I just deleted the whole program and re downloaded it and it is working fine for now.
