Is there any likelihood that a default header will become available in the future?

I used Kristans suggestion on davidelliotts previous thread and added a line on shipping returns and it is a great way to add to every listing in a quick and simple way. I used editor mode to get the code correct. I agree with davidelliott that this added as a header would be a great addition to GS for a simple way to add info to every single listing with ease.
Thanks Martin. My database remains in a delicate state, as always, and I did not want to go down the track of disrupting it further.
Hopefully the GS team will be able to make a header part of GS.

From the way I read your original post it seems you are already using footers in a custom mode that is already being utilized. GS added my text to every listing along with the GS advertisement footer. I added the words âShipping is NOT refundable on returnsâ to the footer. GS just blinked when I added the text to the preferences pane and the text is on every listing along with the GS advertisement. Wouldnât adding a new header disrupt your delicate database?
The footer is good but the first thing anyone reads is a âheaderâ
eg. 'IMpORTANT MESSAGE TO BUYERâŚâŚ.â
It can be changed or removed at will.
Not sure why it would disrupt the database anymore than a footer would.

@davidelliott as far as I can see, header or footer, today buyers in ebay no longer read at all description. We spend lots of time in doing accurate descriptions, but almost no one read them. Many buyers use phone today and description is not showed at all from the listing page, and those who navigate from a computer, actually do not have time/ do not want to read them. I would suggest you adding a photo with sale condition as last image (you can do it in bulk, but your database size will increase a lot). GS in past somehow created a summary of description to display in the listing page (from phone app), it was useful, but it seems to be disappeared now.

Not sure that is correct. I can see the footers on my listings if I select âfull descriptionâ. My main beef is the lack of response from the GS team. I pay my fees every month and I would have thought a 1 min response was reasonable.

Iâm not entirely sure that feature is worth the effort. I guess we have to keep track how many people are requesting it.
A similar thing can be achieved with the text block feature, but that would require adding that text block to each listing. A âheader featureâ would be more convenient. Iâm undecided on this one.
Would it be easier to just make a new design template with a header feature in a design Property similar to the Pro designs with a left or right sidebar so you wouldnât have to change the GS program?
