eBay’s “Global Shipping Program” does not cover televisions.
I need to exclude all countries except for the US, but the choices are blank. It says “255 shipping destination excluded” beneath the blank field, but I believed that and put the item up believing that it was the case.
And then a guy in Papua New Guinea won the bid.
I’ve cancelled the sale and want to put it back up, but I don’t know how if there is no list I can tick countries off of.
I’ve checked, and all of my listings end up giving me this option. There is no shipping profile involved.
Easy fix (I think.). Under the Global tab, just uncheck the Global Shipping Program.
We do not use Global Shipping Program and dictate in our listings that we do not ship overseas since we deal mostly in coin, currency and bullion. That has eliminated 99.9% of our problems with foreign buyers.
However, it is weird that your Excluded Locations tab is completely blank. Just checked one of our listings, and it still shows the list of countries than can be excluded.
She shouldn’t have to do that. But perhaps it is a workaround for her. We have no destinations selected in the International Tab and yet we are able to select countries in the Excluded Locations tab.
You might also want to go into MY EBAY under ACCOUNT then click SITE PREFERENCES on the left then click SHIPPING PREFERENCES and make sure that GLOBAL SHIPPING is off. I know a few people that had it switched on by EBAY without their knowledge.
Well, that’s my problem. There ARE no countries listed nor boxes to check. If you look at the image in my first post, you can see exactly what it looks like.
And even though it SAYS “225 shipping destination excluded,” that isn’t true either. The main interface lists only DOMESTIC. And, as I said, the guy from Papua New Guinea was able to become the owner of the television.
