Thanks. We can reproduce the crash now. Until we have a fix, please do not use the preview mode. Instead, use the Editor mode (like a caveman). :wink:

I was having the crash issue on the first day but haven’t had it since. The only two things I did was close out all the other programs I had running while Garagesale was running (some adobe apps). I also disabled System Integrity Protection since it was messing up the driver for my mouse.

Heres a link on how to do that in case anyone wants to try (not sure if it will correct it or not):

Interesting, but I am not going to be able to close all my other apps, I need them as I am working on multiple projects every day. Also, I am not likely to modify my El Capitan security to make it more hackable by others.

I hope there’s a fix for this soon because right now I’m sitting dead in the water and can’t list anything on eBay. I can’t duplicate templates or create new ones without it crashing.

Until we have a fix, please don’t use the Preview mode. Instead use the Editor mode. There is toggle switch in the main window’s toolbar to switch between modes.

Thanks for keeping trying. I really thought we fixed the issue with version b3. I’m sorry we did not.

Latest (b4) seems to have done the trick. Just listed a new listing using duplicate template with all the changes including new photos and went through without a hitch. Will list some more tonight and let you know if I run across any problems but so far I’m keeping my fingers crossed :slight_smile: Thanks for being on top of things!

That’s great news. When haven’t seen any crash reports either, so there’s a good chance that this bug is fixed. We’ll re-release this version as 6.9.7 final, so everybody(*) should get it automatically through the built-in updater.

(*) Except Mac App Store users, who have to wait until Apple approves the update. :frowning:

I am using version Version 6.7.5 (577) and it constantly crashes on el capitan. Opening it causes a crash. Typing causes crashes. Importing photos causes crashes. Essentially, doing any function with the app causes a crash.

I am running GarageSale 6.9.7 (625) and have OS X El Capitan 10.11.1.
Garage Sale crashes and I lose all the information I’ve entered in the template everytime I use:
Inspector
Options
Product
I’ve tried closing GarageSale and starting fresh, but nothing helps.
