Wow! Thanks for the quick fix, even if for now it is limited to one monitor. I don’t run 4k monitors [they are 2560x1440], so I can’t fit too much on each screen, and tend to keep GS next to Bookpedia/SQLite Manager on one screen as those are my inventory/listing apps [bookpedia is used for inventory/order recording/exporting to other marketplaces, GS, obviously for ebay
].
It’s been a while since I ran GS on my laptop [so the sync will take a while to catch up
] but I may give the beta a try on that and see how it goes. With software [from any vendor], I am very conservative about updates - I’m still running GS 9.9.2 and macOS 14.7.5; will be moving to 14.8.1 at some point soonish, after an image is made - 14.7.5 and 14.7.6 broke /usr/bin/shortcuts so it no longer works which messed up a huge workflow for me; took me a while to find a workaround as the 14.7.4 version was not in my Time Machine backup - https://vjl.li/wjvpt ]. If a big company like Apple can break things, I know it’s possible for any company to [though indie developers tend to be a lot quicker to fix things than Apple is!].
Anyway, thanks very much for this nitpicky bug fix. Much appreciated. I may unplug 1 of my monitors or check the laptop out to see if 9.9.5 or versions after the one I have] fix that very weird scheduler scrolling bug that I really need to make a short video of [I found a clear way to reproduce it, and know when it won’t happen, which hopefully helps, but it is a minor thing and again, may have to do with using 2 monitors]. Anyway, thanks again, and again. ![]()
