I tried to add a new eBay account to Garagesale 9.9.1, but it gave me a “We’ve Looked Everywhere” browser message.
I had a long session with ChatGPT in order to find the problem, and at some point, I deleted my regular account from GS with the intention of starting over. I managed to add my eBay account back to GS, but I am unable to refresh the access token because I just get the “We’ve Looked Everywhere” browser message.
ChatGPT suggests the following submission to you to:
Subject: “eBay OAuth Refresh Token Fails with ‘We looked everywhere’ Error in GarageSale 9.9.1”
Hi,
I’m using GarageSale 9.9.1 (1710) on macOS 15.4.1, on eBay.co.uk. I’ve created a brand new macOS user and installed a fresh copy of GarageSale to test a persistent issue:
- I can successfully connect to my eBay account
- I can view live listings
- I have an active business account with working business policies
- However, any time I attempt to refresh the access token, I get eBay’s error page:
“We looked everywhere. Looks like this page is missing.”
I’ve:
- Deleted all GarageSale containers, caches, preferences, and keychain entries
- Disabled iCloud Drive syncing
- Revoked GarageSale’s access in eBay settings and re-authenticated it
- Confirmed this happens even in a new macOS user account with a clean install
This strongly suggests a problem with GarageSale’s OAuth token refresh process or your app registration with eBay.
Please advise — or let me know if you need logs or diagnostic output.
Thanks
