Database Upgrade
Early beta of GarageSale will use the same database as GarageSale 9 to allow for switching back and forth between versions. At some point before the final release, we will switch GS 10 to work on it’s own copy of your database.
Notes for GS Pro Synching Users
GarageSale 10 contains new data fields, which the synching module in GS 9 does not know about. Therefore when using GarageSale 10 with synching enabled, your synching data will be upgraded to a new schema version, making it no longer accessible to GarageSale 9.
Control-clicking any regular group in the Listings section lets you add a new upload schedule to it, or edit an existing schedule.
Each minute, GarageSale will try to upload unscheduled listings in your scheduled groups, if the scheduled group has a time window matching the current time
Every image sent to the AI for analyzation will cost an image recognition token.
100 images tokens per month are included with the GarageSale Pro subscription. These tokens are non-accumulating and will expire at the end of your subscription period and will not roll-over to the next month.
Regular GarageSale license holders will receive 10 images tokens.
All users can purchase 1000 additional non-expiring images tokens for $/€10.
Thanks for using GarageSale,

Ilja. I downloaded GS 10 to my back up computer running 12.7.6 to try before trying on my main computer(sync off). I ran the orphan photos option first. It took 20 minutes on my library and said it found over 27,000 orphans and the final tally of 45,449 items down to 16,981 items so it actually got rid of ~30,000. SUCCESS! Old listings still beach ball that have up to 15 pictures of massive 5mb size each. My new listings I am using 900kb pictures. The new listings with the smaller photos got a tiny flash of a beachball on 1 listing out of 20 listing views. Seems the trick is to stop using the huge picture sizes
@fedege96
We are currently trying to figure out what’s the best way to implement such an option.
We could add a slider (or a context menu option) that allows you define the image size, like this:
first of all, thank you very much for this update and the effort on this feature! Both ones (this one of the order image and the other one with printable list in listing section) are in my dreams for a long time and I am really really missing them….
Concerning your question, if the image size could be changed using such a slider would be SUPER. In my mind, I thought something like the image field in the listing section (a lens icon that enlarges the image when you move the mouse or click over it). But a slider maybe is a better and more functional idea, this is something like the cursor to change images size in the main window when you select more listings at once. One or the other solution are both excellent and such a size I think would be great.
How about showing “x/y” (or “x:y”, or “x y”) where x is the original first level child count and y is the new recursive child count. That way nobody can complain about “loosing a useful feature”, just add the new recursive child count in addition.
How about… if there are no children groups just show the number of children listings (x) alone, just like v9. IF there are children groups, then add the new “recursive child count for groups” (y) to show after the existing count. Like: “x/y” (or “x:y”, or “x-y”, or “x y”). That way we have the old count, and the new count.
I find myself sometimes wanting the original one level deep count on folders, and sometimes the new full deep number is useful also.
Edge case: If a group contains only an empty group, show X:1 rather than X as @Neal suggests. That is:
if a group contains X children that are all listings, show the count as X
if any of the X children is a group, empty or not, show the numbers as X:Y where Y is the recursive count of all child groups and their contents (even if empty)
